Who are you? Who you are.

Dale Clifford:At Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Arizona, Clifford has initiated coursework and research programs to develop interactive building technologies based on regional building practices, biomimetics, and advances in materials science. The vehicle for Clifford’s research is prototyping, and includes full-scale demonstration projects to field-test transitional building technologies that promote the sensorial integration of the built and natural environments. 
 




Zack Jacobson-Weaver: (zjacobso@andrew.cmu.edu) Zack graduated from MTID on 12/21/2012, the day the world was supposed to end!  Since it didnt', he has remained part of the CodeLab as a visiting scholar.  His interests are mostly related to learning through making.  His background in making stuff includes welding and metal casting as well as robotic, CNC and 3Dprinting fabrication.  Zack also works with Dale as part of the BioLogic research group.  His goal in life is to help others discover how much they can create for themselves!


Yingri Guan studied graphic design and mathematics. She is interested in provoking a different perspective to “reality”.

Skills: Adobe Creative Suite, web design, video editing, mathematics, drawing, painting.
Want to learn: everything especially hand-on making of objects, mechanics, dynamics, arduino, digital fabrication, most importantly how to become a great creative thinker!




Liang graduated from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences with a Master degree of Applied Computer Technology. Prior to UCAS, he received Bachelor Degree of Software Engineering from Beihang University, Beijing, China. His primary research interests are tangible user interface, wearable computing, smart material and HCI. His vision for future interactions is an integration of OBJECTHUMAN, and ENVIRONMENT.  Liang hopes to make creative, playful, and useful things that inspire people to think, play and use.
