This piece by design and engineering studio Bot & Dolly is a wonderful example of what happens when you fuse technology and art. This short film was shot entirely in camera using robotic arms (typically used for car manufacturing) that provide millimeter precision and extremely accurate timing. The visuals were done entirely with a classic technique called projection mapping that uses projectors to change the appearance of 3-dimensional objects. The result is a experience that appears downright magical.
